Amanda Ikerd Lynn has lived most of her life in Union County. While in high school and, she worked part-time with the firm and continued to help during her years at college. She attended Gardner-Webb University and holds a B.S. in Business Administration.
Amanda joined the firm full-time as the head paralegal and client liaison in 2010 and is now the Firm Manager. She is an integral part of the firm and is the point of contact for clients and court personnel who contact our office.
Sarah Jordon is a Union County native and has been a paralegal with Dana Lehnhardt for 11 years. Before then, she was an employee of the Union County Clerk of Court.
Sarah serves to answer questions and resolve concerns for clients. She understands the urgency and importance of each client’s domestic situation and strives to demonstrate patience and understanding of the difficulties that are part of any divorce or custody dispute. Due to her perspective on these situations, she is ideal as our Accounts Manager.
Melissa was born in Charlotte, grew up in Union County, and her desire to serve her native community has never wavered. A graduate of Sun Valley High School, Melissa went on to earn her Associate of Applied Science with an emphasis in Criminal Justice from South Piedmont Community College in 2013.
As a paralegal with our firm, Melissa supports our attorneys and serves as a point of contact for our clients. She takes the time to listen to and communicate with each client about their individual issues, ensuring that she truly understands their unique needs so that she can help them in the best possible ways. One of Melissa’s main objectives is to make every client as comfortable as possible during what is likely one of the most difficult times of their lives.
Client Relations Manager
Kristin Patera has lived in Union County for most of her life and currently calls it home. A graduate of Forest Hills High School, she continued her education in the customer service industry following graduation. She spent eight years in customer service at several local businesses before joining our firm, holding supervisory positions the majority of the time.
As our Client Relations Manager, Kristin uses her relational skills and calming voice to help our clients through their stressful situations. She recognizes that our clients need a person who can relate to them and provide personal guidance in their times of need.
Amanda earned her Associate Degree in Paralegal Technology from Central Piedmont Community College before joining our firm as a paralegal. Applying the skills she learned in college, she assists our attorneys and works as a client liaison. Amanda’s goal is to get to know each client so that she can approach each case with personal, tailored care and understanding.
Amanda is a Charlotte native and has lived in Union County for the majority of her life. She likes to spend her spare time rock climbing with her husband.
Toni Riggins is our receptionist and the first friendly voice heard on the phone at Collins Family Law Group.
With over 20 years of experience, Toni has the unique ability to make anyone feel comfortable while going through what may be one of the most uncomfortable and difficult situations they will experience. She excels as a friendly, calming, and comforting point of contact for our firm.
Born in Washington, D.C. and raised in Charlotte, NC, Sandra earned her B.A. in Criminal Justice from the University of North Carolina in 2013. She worked for another family law firm in the Charlotte area before joining us at Collins Family Law Group.
Sandra is passionate about helping others. As a paralegal, she enjoys developing close working relationships with our clients and helping them through the various states of their legal processes. Outside of the office, she loves working with animals and spending time with her three godchildren.
Allison grew up in Georgia. She graduated from the University of Georgia in 1993, earning her Bachelor’s Degree in Early Childhood Psychology. Allison moved to Charlotte, North Carolina in 2004 where she began her career as a paralegal.
Allison’s 13 years of experience as a paralegal have provided her with exposure to many areas of law. She provides the firm with solid and reliable assistance and serves as a listening ear to clients. When she is away from the office, she enjoys being a devoted mother to her two children and spoiling her rescued pets.
