Amanda Ikerd Lynn has lived in Union County the majority of her life. Amanda worked part-time with the firm during her high school years and continued to provide assistance throughout her years at college. Amanda joined the firm full time in August of 2010, as the head paralegal and client liaison. Amanda has been an integral part of the firm and is now the Firm Manager for the firm and serves as the point of contact for clients and court personnel with our office.
Amanda holds a Bachelor of Science in Business Administration from Gardner-Webb University.
Sarah Jordan is originally from Union County and has worked as a paralegal in her hometown with Dana Lehnhardt for 11 years. Prior to being a paralegal, Sarah worked for the Union County Clerk of Court. Sarah takes pride in assisting clients with their questions and concerns regarding the resolution of their case. She understands that when clients are going through a domestic situation, that domestic situation is the most important issue they are confronting and tries to be patient and understanding of the difficulties involved in the dissolution of a marriage or in a child custody dispute. This perspective makes her ideal as our Accounts Manager.
Born in Charlotte, and raised in Union County, North Carolina, Melissa has never wavered in her desire to serve her native community. Melissa graduated from Sun Valley High School and earned her Associate of Applied Science Degree in Criminal Justice from South Piedmont Community College in 2013.
Since Melissa joined our firm, she provides support services for our attorneys and serves as a point of contact for clients. Melissa takes the time to speak with each client about their individual issues, to ensure that she understands the client’s specific needs in order to provide the best possible assistance. It is Melissa’s primary objective to make our clients feel as comfortable as possible, during what is most often one of the most difficult times of their lives.
Kristin Patera has resided in Union County the majority of her life, and calls Union County home. Kristin is a graduate of Forest Hills High School, and she furthered her education in the customer service industry after graduation.
Kristin joined the firm after spending eight years in the customer service industry at several local businesses, serving as the supervisor a majority of this time. Kristin uses her skills and her calming voice to help clients deal with their stressful situations. She understands that clients need someone who can relate to them and help guide them in their time of need.
Prior to joining Collins Family Law Group, Amanda earned her Associate’s Degree in Paralegal Technology from Central Piedmont Community College. Amanda applies the skills that she learned in school to assist the attorneys. Amanda also works directly with clients as a liaison, and her goal is to get to know each client and to approach their case with care and understanding.
Amanda is a native of Charlotte and has called Union County home for the majority of her life. In her spare time, Amanda enjoys rock climbing with her husband.
Toni Riggins is the first friendly voice heard on the phone at Collins Family Law Group. She is the office receptionist. Toni has over 20 years of office experience. She has the ability to make you feel comfortable while going through an uncomfortable situation.
