Attorney at Law
Candace S. Faircloth was born and raised in the small rural town of Loris, South Carolina, and immediately fell in love with Union and the surrounding counties for their familiar small-town charm. She received her Bachelor of Arts Degree in Political Science with a minor in Pre-Law from Coastal Carolina University, before pursuing her law degree and became licensed to practice in North Carolina in 2013.
Candace is an active member of the Union County Bar Association, Mecklenburg County Bar, and the Family Law and Young Lawyer’s Divisions of the North Carolina Bar Association. Prior to joining Collins Family Law Group, Candace was in the courtroom daily advocating for victims of domestic violence in her role as attorney fellow with Safe Alliance. Since joining Collins Family Law Group, Candace has vigorously advocated for her clients both in the courtroom and in settlement negotiations regarding divorce, child custody, child support, spousal support, property division and domestic violence protective orders, just to name a few. Candace is committed to providing common-sense legal representation to her clients by guiding them through the complex divorce process from start to finish.
Candace strives to provide the best support possible for those who find themselves in need of legal representation and believes that each client’s situation should be handled as if it were her own.
Well-Prepared at All Times
In my practice, I strive to be well-prepared at all times and in all aspects of each case. My goal is to ensure that each client understands all potential outcomes and the likelihood of certain results occurring, whether the client chooses to let the courts handle their matter or chooses to resolve the matter outside of court. I do this so that my clients are well-prepared moving on and moving forward in their lives, once this part of their life is over.

Not only did she help give me the strength to get through that incredibly hard period but she fought and fought hard.
Without going into a great deal of personal detail. Going through a very rough period in my my ex attempted to take full custody of our daughter. Candace was amazing when I met her I was unsure and low and n faith and she was strong, a fighter. Not only did she help give me the strength to get through that incredibly hard period but she fought and fought hard. In the end she achieved the outcome I was hoping for. Candace is bright, personable and tenacious. I think the quote “and tho she be but little, she is fierce” aptly fits her. I would highly recommend her.
