Experience & Scope of Practice
Jennifer practices exclusively in family court, handling a large variety of cases. She has experience in complex divorce and asset division negotiations, child custody and support disputes, domestic violence protective orders, settlement agreements, and adoptions.
Prior to her family law career, Jennifer worked for a multistate law firm as a legal research librarian. During her undergraduate career, Jennifer had the opportunity to work with the Charleston County Coroner’s Office assisting with investigations and legal research, an experience she credits to her passion for the law. While in law school, Jennifer also had the opportunity to work with the Charleston Homeless Justice Project, where she was recognized for exceeding one hundred hours of volunteer service, and the General Counsel for the Medical University of South Carolina.
Outside of the office, Jennifer enjoys spending quality time with her family and friends. When the weather permits, she can often be found boating or kayaking in the Lowcountry waters. Jennifer is an avid Carolina Gamecocks and Carolina Panthers fan.
A passion for helping others find solutions
I love practicing family law because it allows me to connect with my clients on a personal level. The practice of family law is not for the faint of heart. As a family law practitioner, I wear many hats – attorney, counselor, life coach, and friend. Every action is emotional, no matter how seemly uncomplicated. When clients come to me, they often feel lost, alone, and scared of the future. My goal and priority is to guide my clients through the litigation process while providing the strength and compassion they need to achieve the best possible outcome.
