Biography
Lee is a North Carolina State Bar Certified Paralegal and Notary Public who works alongside Attorney Amber Morris in the Firm’s Weddington, North Carolina office. She has worked exclusively in family law since 2017 and joined Collins Family & Estate Law Group in 2022, where she was quickly recognized as an integral member of the team. She was promoted to Senior Paralegal in 2025 in recognition of her dedication to excellence, thoughtful approach to client service, and the meaningful role she plays in supporting both her team and the firm as a whole.
Originally from South Boston, Massachusetts, Lee earned her Bachelor of Science in Office Administration cum laude from Salem State College, then went on to complete a Post-Baccalaureate Certificate in Paralegal Studies from Central Piedmont Community College (CPCC).
Before entering the legal field, she spent several years in the investment industry, where she gained experience in closed-end mutual funds, foreign exchange, and 401(k) plan administration—an analytical foundation that continues to serve her well in family law.
Lee was inducted into Lambda Epsilon Chi (CPCC Paralegal Honor Society) and Phi Theta Kappa. She is a member of the North Carolina Paralegal Association and the Metrolina Paralegal Association. She is a valued resource to other paralegals across the firm and is known not only for her willingness to share knowledge, but also for the calm, capable way she supports clients—many of whom have gone out of their way to express their appreciation at the close of their case.
Outside of work, Lee and her husband have five amazing children who keep life busy and full of energy. In her spare time, she enjoys gardening, reading, and traveling.
