Law Clerk

Renee Lambert joined Collins Family & Elder Law Group in 2023. She is based in the Monroe, North Carolina office and frequently visits other offices for full collaboration. Renee currently serves as a law clerk, assisting attorneys and paralegals through client communication, document drafting and editing, and legal research. 

Education & Experience

Renee was born in New York and moved to North Carolina in 2013. Renee graduated Magna Cum Laude from the University of North Carolina Wilmington with a B.S. in Marketing and a B.A. in Spanish. While earning her undergraduate degrees, she was an active member of UNCW’s Honors College, where she completed her undergraduate Honors Thesis in Marketing. She also served as treasurer of the Sigma Sigma Sigma sorority and as president of UNCW’s Equestrian Team. She is currently enrolled as a juris doctorate candidate at Liberty University School of Law and is expected to graduate in May 2025. While attending Liberty Law, Renee is a member of the Alternative Dispute Resolution (ADR) Board, a member of Liberty Law’s Honors Program, and has been granted the Honor’s Program Scholarship. 

Renee has previously worked for two local law offices in Wilmington, North Carolina as a legal assistant while she was an undergraduate student, including an immigration law firm and a multi-service law firm. She also has prior experience in the practice areas of real estate law, family law, civil litigation, and wills, trusts, and estates. 

Personal Interests

In her spare time, Renee enjoys spending time with her friends and family. She also enjoys horseback riding, watching a new TV show, and traveling. 

Personal Philosophy

My personal philosophy is to always be prepared. Life is unpredictable, but through organization and time management, you can always be ready for anything that you may face.
