Law Clerk
Abby House joined Collins Family & Elder Law Group in 2022. She is based in the Firm’s Monroe, North Carolina office and frequently visits other offices for full collaboration. Abby currently serves as a law clerk. Her goal is to assist attorneys and paralegals in their work, and she does so through communicating with clients, drafting and reviewing documents, and conducting legal research.
Education & Experience
Abby is a native of North Carolina who received her Bachelor of Arts in English with a minor in Political Science from the University of North Carolina at Wilmington. While earning her Undergraduate degree, she was a member of the swim team as well as a vice president of the Kappa Delta sorority. She went on to receive her Juris Doctorate degree from the University of North Carolina School of Law. While at UNC Law, she worked on a pro bono project for the ACLU and interned with CFLG, where she helped attorneys on various matters. She is currently awaiting her bar exam results from North Carolina.
Personal Interests
When not working, Abby enjoys spending time with her friends and family. She also enjoys watching movies, painting, and wake surfing.

My personal philosophy is to treat everyone I meet with respect and kindness. I understand that our clients are going through potentially the most difficult time in their lives, and it is essential to manage matters with the greatest level of care.
