Bio

Christine is a Managing Attorney located in the Dilworth Office. After graduating from the University of Delaware with a Bachelor of Arts Degree in Criminal Justice and Sociology and a minor in Women’s Studies, she went on to attend Charlotte School of Law, where she graduated with honors.

Christine is admitted to practice in the state of North Carolina. Her practice is based in Charlotte and the surrounding areas. Christine’s practice area is specialized to focus on family law and domestic violence.

She was selected to the North Carolina Super Lawyers Rising Stars list in 2022 and 2023, a designation limited to no more than 2.5% of the attorneys within North Carolina.

Experience & Scope of Practice

During her time at Charlotte School of Law, Christine interned with Legal Aid of North Carolina’s Domestic Violence Program, where she assisted with representing individuals seeking domestic violence protective orders. She also participated in the Family Advocacy Clinic with the Neighborhood Advocacy Center, representing parents facing termination of their parental rights. Christine also volunteered with the Domestic Violence Healthcare Project at Carolina’s Medical Center, where she assisted and counseled victims of domestic violence.

After graduating from law school, Christine began practicing with a small family law firm in Charlotte prior to joining Collins Family & Elder Law Group in 2018. She continued to support local domestic violence non-profit groups by acting as a committee member with the annual Fighting for Women with Fashion fundraising event with Safe Alliance and as a volunteer best interest attorney with the Council for Children’s Rights, representing children in highly contested custody proceedings.

Christine represents clients with issues related to child custody, child support, grandparent rights, equitable distribution, post-separation support, alimony, divorce from bed and board, separation agreements, absolute divorce, marital torts, enforcement of court orders & agreements, and domestic violence protective orders.
