Megan White is licensed in North Carolina, and is a member of the Mecklenburg County Bar Association, the North Carolina Bar Association, the Family Law and Young Lawyer’s Division of the North Carolina Bar Association, and a member of Charlotte Women Attorneys. She frequently volunteers with the Lunch with a Lawyer program where she mentors an 8th grade Charlotte-Mecklenburg County student, and also annually raises money for the Alzheimer’s Association through the Walk to End Alzheimer’s.
Prior to becoming an attorney, Megan graduated from Wingate University with a Bachelor of Science degree in biology and a minor in psychology. While in law school, Megan was an active member of the Trial Advocacy Honor Board where she was a finalist in both the intra-school trial competition and the Carolinas Mock Trial Invitational. She uses these learned skills to advocate for her clients. Megan clerked with the Chief District Court Judge Regan Miller during law school. Prior to working at Collins Family Law, she was a legal assistant in the areas of family law and criminal law.
Megan understands the stressful and emotional time that many clients face while experiencing a divorce, child custody issue, or other domestic issue. She uses her strong advocacy skills to advocate for the best possible outcomes for her clients, and is compassionate and understands each client’s legal needs. Megan works diligently to provide options for clients facing this difficult time in their life.
In her free time, Megan enjoys spending time with her husband, Evan and their two dogs, and enjoys traveling and cheering on the home team, the Carolina Panthers.
