Bio
Lucy Pannes is an attorney at Collins Family & Elder Law Group's Summerville, South Carolina office. Her practice focuses on family law matters, including divorce, child custody, child support, and emergency-based applications. Originally from Jamestown, New York—Lucille Ball's hometown—Lucy is thrilled to be part of the Lowcountry community.
Lucy earned her Juris Doctor from the University at Buffalo School of Law in 2022. During law school, she represented domestic violence victims as they navigated the family court system, developing a deep commitment to protecting families in crisis.
Prior to joining Collins Family & Elder Law Group, Lucy served as an Assistant District Attorney in Queens County, New York, where she handled hundreds of cases from inception through disposition or trial. As a former prosecutor, Lucy brings courtroom experience and strategic thinking to every case. She strives to reach amicable resolutions whenever possible but stands ready to be a passionate advocate in the courtroom when necessary. Lucy understands the complex and emotional nature of family matters, approaching each case with empathy, compassion, and unwavering dedication to her clients.

Personal Interests
Outside of the office, Lucy enjoys spending time with her husband and their two cats. She loves being outdoors—whether at the beach or exploring a new hiking trail. Lucy is passionate about animal rights and volunteers regularly at Dorchester Paws. And yes, since Lucy is from Buffalo, she's a dedicated Bills fan—"Go Bills!"
