Meredith Jolin

Bio
Meredith Jolin is based primarily in our Fort Mill, South Carolina office and is licensed to practice law in South Carolina. She advises clients on estate planning and administration, guardianships, and elder law matters, with a straight forward approach from first meeting to final paperwork.
Experience & Scope of Practice
A member of the Catawba Indian Nation, Meredith grew up in Rock Hill, SC, before moving with her family to Virginia. Before joining Collins, she served as Director of Justice Services for the Catawba Nation, where she helped stand up the Nation’s first courts and created a specialized program supporting elder and incapacitated victims of crime. After law school, she was a tribal court advocate with SRPMIC Legal Services, representing clients across Arizona in family and elder law. That work shaped her focus on dignity in aging and her hands-on experience with guardianships, elder abuse matters, and estate administration.
Education
Meredith earned her J.D. from Brigham Young University’s J. Reuben Clark Law School and a B.A. in Art from Southern Virginia University. She is active in the South Carolina Bar and York County Bar, and was selected for the University of Arizona’s 2023 Tribal Professionals Cohort.
Personal Interests
When she’s not practicing law, Meredith enjoys live music with her husband and son and, each fall, makes traditional Catawba baskets for family and friends.
