Peyton Staab

Bio
Peyton Staab is based out of the Dilworth office in Charlotte, NC. Peyton was born in Virginia Beach, VA, and moved frequently throughout the Mid-Atlantic due to her mother’s career—relocating five times before turning 18. However, with strong family roots in North Carolina and Virginia, Peyton always knew the Tar Heel state was home. Like so many, she quickly fell in love with everything Charlotte has to offer.
One of two children, Peyton is very close with her older brother and credits him as a major influence in her decision to become an attorney. After he was diagnosed with autism at age three and later with epilepsy as a teenager, Peyton has always played an active role in his care. This experience instilled in her a passion for advocacy and fostered a deep sense of empathy, which has allowed her to meaningfully connect with clients as they navigate the legal and emotional complexities of family law.
Peyton earned her Bachelor of Arts in Political Science, with a minor in Business, from Auburn University. As becoming an attorney had always been her goal, she went on to obtain her Juris Doctor from Campbell University School of Law in Raleigh, NC.
Experience & Scope of Practice
While in law school, Peyton was actively involved in pro bono work, contributing to the Elder Law Clinic and the Community Law Clinic. However, it was through her work at Campbell’s Family Law Clinic that she discovered her true passion for family law and began carving out her career path. Peyton handles a wide range of cases, including Child Custody, Child Support, Domestic Violence, Equitable Distribution, Separation Agreements, Alimony, Post Separation Support, and Prenuptial/Postnuptial Agreements.
Peyton’s experiences have led her to recognize that every client—and every family—has a unique story. Whether navigating the courtroom or negotiating settlements, she is committed to meeting clients exactly where they are at and fighting for what they truly deserve, with the same dedication she would give to her family.
