Bio

Harper Anderson practices family law and estate law in the firm's Mount Pleasant, South Carolina office.

Family and estate matters rarely arrive at a convenient moment. Harper works with individuals and families through divorce, custody, estate planning, probate, and contested estate administration — situations where the legal question is inseparable from a personal one. Her job, as she sees it, is to make the options clear, the path forward concrete, and the advocacy forceful when a matter has to be fought.

She arrives at this practice from a useful direction. Before joining Collins Family & Elder Law Group, Harper practiced civil litigation in Kentucky, handling commercial, employment, and healthcare matters alongside a substantial trust and estate litigation docket: will contests, fiduciary disputes, probate conflicts, and contested estate administrations. That work maps directly onto estate practice. Harper has seen firsthand how estate plans fail and how families end up litigating against one another — and she brings that vantage point to clients who would rather never get there.

A Kentucky native, Harper earned her B.A. in Political Science, Criminology, and Sociology from Western Kentucky University and her J.D. from the University of Kentucky J. David Rosenberg College of Law. She lives in the Charleston area and serves clients throughout the Lowcountry.
